Work included 4 miles of roadway reconstruction, drainage, bridge widening, signalization, lighting, PTMS, and 2 miles of water main work via a JPA with MDWSD. 18 drilled shafts and 3,600 LF of gravity wall. Over 70,000 LB of reinforcing steel. Bridge widening with 32 piles, 4,400 SF of deck and 1,400 LF of concrete railing.

Project Highlight: Pinnacle provides Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) inspection staff for The South Dade TransitWay (South Corridor). The corridor is one the five rapid transit corridors of the Strategic Miami Area Rapid Transit (SMART) Program. The corridor runs 20-miles in length and connects numerous municipalities which represent some of the fastest growing communities in Miami-Dade County.

The South Dade TransitWay extends from the Dadeland South Metrorail Station to the SW 344th Street Park-and-Ride/Transit Terminal, and it provides a mobility connection between the Miami Central Business District and the Village of Pinecrest, the Village of Palmetto Bay, Town of Cutler Bay, City of Homestead, and Florida City.

Project Highlight: Blue Heron Bridge Rehabilitation in Riviera Beach- not everybody can say they work in paradise! Our team is overseeing a bridge rehabilitation of the Blue Heron Blvd. Bridge over the ICWW for FDOT District 4. The improvements under this contract consist of but are not limited to bridge superstructure (partial deck replacement, spall restoration, crack injection, reinforcing steel, expansion joint, concrete removal), bridge substructure (bearing replacement), milling and resurfacing, concrete (traffic separator, median barrier), and pavement markings (removable tape, permanent tape, painted, thermoplastic, raised). Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction to allow for this work to be completed. Want to know more?
